Didn’t know about this place until moved to the area -hot dogs were very good - prob Best haddock sammich -being no where near a body of water - I was pleasantly surprised -could use some more seating with shade but has nothing to do with food.. will come back for more
This is a hidden local staple. The staff here were very friendly and professional. The food is delicious and came out pretty fast for a Saturday lunch opening. There is plenty of parking around the restaurant. Be mindful of the steep parts. I am looking forward to going back again soon!
Lee's is a true hidden gem. Open seasonally, they serve delicious Hot Dogs (extra long), burgers, seafood and many sides. Ice cream is available too to compliment the meal. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the outdoor seating is a great addition. The food was fresh, hot and tasty, and you can tell it's all scratch made with quality ingredients. Well worth the trip, and very family friendly while being a great value.
It was really good and reasonably priced for what we got. Usually we get Ryan’s Raft for $8.50 that includes two hotdogs, fries and a soda but we had a big group today and got 2 hotdogs, 2 chili dogs, fries, soda, and a clam/scallop plate and it was $42. They were busy but still quick.
Lee's Hot Dog Stand has been a fixture for many years, I hadn't been there for quite some time, not since I was a teenager, and decided on a whim to stop there. I had planned to get a foot long hotdog, which they're famous for, but instead changed my mind after seeing the signs for their sundaes, one of which was a grasshopper sundae, so I ordered it instead. It was very good, just the right amount of mint chocolate chip ice cream, chocolate fudge with two mint chocolate cookies and topped with whip cream, the only downside was the cherry on top, I bit into the cherry only to discover it still had part of a pit in it, which I hurt my tooth on, making me think I should have stuck with my first plan and ordered the foot long hotdog instead, oh well. The people working there were nice and the service was good.
I've been coming here since 60's and thru numerous owners, and I remember Mr. Lee himself, the hot dogs remain the same. They have added numerous choices to their menu, but it will always be a hot dog with relish, onions and mustard. The classic.
Best hot dogs ever , best service , nice young ladies who work there . My daughters love the Mac an cheese . The food is so good ! Literally been going there since ei was little
